We are pleased to debut the newest video from Madison’s own Cribshitter. The eclectic group, who proudly refer to themselves as the city’s “premier
fog machine-oriented band,” have gained a local following with their DIY music videos and unpredictable sound. Past Cribshitter tracks have dabbled in everything from “brostep” to straightforward acoustic pop.

From last year’s Mint Car, “Nicky Phonehome” finds the group in subdued electro-pop territory — think slower Neon Indian or the Drive soundtrack. The accompanying video is a captivating journey told through a (very) David Lynchian lens, complete with a solo dance routine, fire, and, naturally, a fleet of ice cream vehicles.

Cribshitter is working hard on a new album, possibly called Jizz Hands, and you can catch them live August 24 at Harmony Bar’s grand re-opening party or at Mickey’s Tavern on October 12.
