Much like the oftentimes drawn out process of getting over someone, this track is a real slow burn. Not long ago, Black Butter Records introduced Kidnap Kid, the newest face in the intersection of pop, dance, and soul music.

When the song opens you’re not exactly sure what to expect, with a few soft opening chords over a quiet house beat. The track unfolds itself, starting slow and reaching an emotional crescendo that can only be described as an explosion of all the feels. Check it out.
