As is the case with most artists that have an “ø” in their names, this pop project comes, in part, from a Scandinavian. One-half Finnish singer Olivia Merilahti and one-half French multi-instrumentalist Dan Levy, the group formed in Paris in 2007. They haven’t reared their heads since their lovely 2011 album, Both Ways Open Jaws, but they have thankfully returned with this bubblegum single, “Keep Your Lips Sealed.”

Their out-of-the-box pop walks the line between energizing and eerie, swayed by Levy’s horn, synth and percussion-based production. Merilahti’s vocals ground the track, keeping it chaotic in the verses and centered in the chorus. It’s delightfully airy and incredibly easy to vibe with.
