Tender Defender: “Hello Dirt”

Punk fans got some good news this week with the creation of Tender Defender, a three-piece project of some of Latterman’s former members that arose out of nowhere. “Hello Dirt” is filled with the anthem-making riffs and triumphant feels you’ve come to love from these guys.

GEMS: “Living as a Ghost”

The debut song off of their upcoming debut album, this glimmery, breathy and poppy summer jam is here just in time for the dog days.

Majical Cloudz: Silver Car Crash”

The first track we’ve heard from Majical Cloudz’ second album, Are You Alone?, “Silver Car Crash” is nothing short of dreamy, emphasizing the intense emotions that are characteristic of frontman Devon Welsh. Swoon.

The World is a Beautiful Place & I am No Longer Afraid to Die: “January 10th, 2014”

This track is based off of the story of Diana the Hunter, a female vigilante who killed bus drivers in Juarez as revenge for decades of rape and homicide. In the song and in music video, the male character is “a predator that must be destroyed,” according to frontman David Bello. It’s pretty badass.

Youth Lagoon: “Highway Patrol Stun Gun”

I never thought I’d say it, but here is a jam by Youth Lagoon.
