With the energy of an 18-year-old and the voice of a man who is much older, Will Joseph Cook has served up a piece of indie pop deliciousness in his new single, “Hearse.” The third release off of his upcoming Proof Enough EP, “Hearse” uses a dark metaphor to tongue-in-cheekly reflect of the ending of a fraught relationship.

Though relatively new to the scene, this Kent-based singer/songwriter is already making waves in the ocean of millennial music fandom. Not only did he just finish a set of sold out shows in London, but he also performed at Glastonbury music festival — a feat which many of his peers could only hope to achieve.

If you want more Cook, check out his live recording of “Message.” You’ll probably melt.
