Minneapolis-based Night Moves has been a local favorite for some time now and have finally gained widespread recognition with their recent signing to Domino Records. Their sound has been described as electo-country but their sound can't really be defined as that.

"Headlights" is a perfect example of what the trio has created with strong guitars, memorable lyrics, and a vibe that rides the chillwaves until songs end. Almost MGMT-like, the strength of this track comes from its progression and abundant use of layering to set the ideal ambiance.

Their album, Colored Emotions, will be re-released under the Domino umbrella in 2012.
