Sweet slow jam I think it’s time to baby-make. At least for the four minutes Dead Times’ “Baby” is playing — a steady and sensual track that does homage to its original 1979 version by Donnie and Joe Emerson while adding a satisfying modern twist. Dead Times adds an R&B beat to the song that was pure pop to begin with; it adds a cultural relevance and makes it relatable for members of our generation. Dead Times is a group that has laid relatively low thus far beyond doing shows with the likes of Jay Pharrall and Superhumoids. Definitely a trio to keep your ears open for.
