André Allen Anjos, also known as RAC, has been working remix magic for about seven years, DJing at venues all over the country and generating a loyal fanbase. Now, he has decided to embark on a whole new journey, releasing original material for the first time in a much anticipated two-part debut. He’s collaborated with artists from all over the map, from Tokyo Police Club to Tegan and Sara to Karl Kling, and plans on assembling a band to recreate this new sound on tour.

One of the singles off of RAC’s groundbreaking release, “Tear You Down,” features Alex Ebert of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. With a light, catchy pop riff and Alex’s signature vocals, the song is reminiscent of classic Edward Sharpe set to a dance beat. The track just oozes good vibes in that familiar hippy, “spread the love” fashion, and it’s enough to put a smile on the face of anyone in earshot. The result is a maddeningly addictive tune that will make you want to play it on repeat for days.
