Since Beat Connection’s The Palace Garden in 2012, the Seattle group has developed wide recognition and a near-solidified sound. A nose dip into Beat Connection’s water would reveal something electronic, indie, and pop. But with the release of their new single, “Hesitation,” fans will slip and splash into something new: a sugary wave of deep blue disco.

The track is rightfully named. Industrial woodwinds and a breathing bass suavely befriend serenity without a warrant — will fans dig the sound? Will Beat Connection mold future records off this vinyl cut? From my listening space, I am fumbling every orb of logic to enjoy the new track from the rising crew.
