Jimmy Eat World recorded “Firestarter” for inclusion on Warchild: 1 Love in 2002. They transformed “Firestarter” from the original claustrophobic car crash into something else entirely, simply by stripping it down to bass, drums and guitar. It was later released by the band as an EP between their albums Bleed American (2001) and Futures (2004).
