The Majestic Theatre is welcoming the spring semester with Bass Kitchen Back to School Rager, guaranteeing to provide the necessary amount of fun and dancing to get everyone ready for the school. Tonight, Majestic will be hosting Brooklyn’s very own Baauer along with local acts. Baauer has become one of the masters of trap, incorporating hip-hop, crunk, and house in his music in an innovative style. Baauer’s fame kept rising after the success of “Harlem Shake” and many other early releases; and when his latest EP Dum Dum dropped in September, it was clear that Baauer was here to stay and his beats were going to be played in every club across the U.S. and Europe.
Two talented local DJs will be supporting Baauer’s performance at tonight’s show at the Majestic. DJ Mighty Thor and *hitmayng has been keeping the local Wisconsin hip-hop and electronic music scene alive for years with their catchy beats. A great addition to tonight’s lineup, DJ Mighty Thor has been entertaining the local Wisconsin electronic music lovers for more than ten years with his various influences in house and UK bass.
Finally, *hitmayng, another Milwaukee-based DJ, has been among the most acclaimed Wisconsin trap artists, with his success multiplied over the years with the addition of new EPs and collaborations with other local artist such as CRASHprez.
