If you currently find yourself in mourning for the end of summer and pining for the burst of energy that accompanies those four sweltery months of the year, I have a song that may sooth your pain. “Over & Over,” the latest offering from L.A.-based Smallpools, is exactly the kind of anthem pop that will make you excited for the rest of the year.

You may have already heard Smallpools previous singles “Dreaming” and “Mason Jar,” but “Over & Over” brings the group to another level. In their fast+paced synth pop and energized vocals, the group perfectly encapsulates the possibility in irresponsibility. It’s the kind of music that makes you want to turn off Netflix and get up and do something. If you are currently suffering from the back to school/work blues, this is definitely the song to have on repeat.

Adore Smallpools right now! Totally agree that they create the perfect soundtrack for the end of summer. Even though its pretty far into fall, I'm still stoked that I have tickets to see them live in Minneapolis! The 29th will be amaaazing
