Canadian group Timber Timbre has a sound all its own. Mixing electronic pop, blues, and folk, the band has created a uniquely shadowy sound that often seems like it’s been filtered through murky water. Having released their fifth album, Hot Dreams, in April, Timber Timbre will spend the summer touring Europe.

This moody track sounds a bit like a novelty Halloween song mixed with a variation on the James Bond theme. Marching along with discordant chord progressions, the disconcertingly dark song features billowing electronic riffs and a long, unsettling instrumental outro. With the addition of mysterious shouts and cackling noises, the whole combination makes an eerie impression on the listener.
