After the dissolution of his first band, Port O’Brien, front man Van Pierszlowsk headed to Norway for a fresh start. And a fresh start he got. After he got a band together he began looking to his surroundings for his new material. The result was Waters, a pop rock band with an upbeat sound that keeps you both moving and thinking. “Got to My Head” is an explosion of a song. It’s initial cheeriness takes on a delicately biting nature as the lyrics start to make their way through the track.

The shouting refrain “maybe you got to my head” sounds like both an admission and an accusation, shaped further by lyrics such as, “I never thought you’d stray / and now I’d kill some thinking.” The song is some ass-kicking fun, and I can’t wait for more of what Waters has to offer.
