Australian trio Movement hit the scene early last year with their unique blend of R&B and electronic pop. The band traces their influences as far back as early Stevie Wonder, and they have the lead vocalist to warrant this claim. Although Movement has only released two tracks so far, along with a slew of remixes, one can expect more soulful electronic ballads from them in the near future.

Movement’s newest single, “Us,” is a muted electro love song, with a velvety synth beat and smooth vocals. Lyrics like, “When we’re alone in the dark / and I could take you right now” speak to the soothing sensuality of the song, which floats along a single plane, never leaving its initial entrancing level. Still, a gently driving beat urges the track along in a never ending flow of soulfulness.
